NATURE RESERVATIONS
Explore miles of hiking trails during the summer or skiing/snowboarding in the winter at Blue Hill Reservation and Ski Area. Westwood is also home to Hale Reservation, boasting miles of trails, three ponds (Noanet, Powissett, and Storrow) and North & Membership Beach. Hale also offers a variety of programs and everything from scout camp outs to weddings, reunions, and company retreats.
TRANSPORTATION
Westwood is situated at the junction of Route 95/128 and 93. It has two commuter rail lines, including the Route 128 train station which is the sole regional stop for AMTRAK high-speed rail service from Boston to Providence, New Haven, New York City and Washington, D.C. Westwood also has full MBTA bus service on Routes 1 and 1A (Washington Street).
